Role of Personal Injury Lawyers

Personal injury law is an area of law that deals with wrongs or damages to a person’s body, psyche, property and rights. Personal injuries may occur as a result of a faulty product, faulty repairs, slip and falls or in a traffic accident. The personal injury may be physical or psychological. An injury lawyer’s responsibility is to handle a claim for personal injury.

In the event of a motor vehicle accident, a personal injury lawyer represents clients with their accident benefit claims or, where applicable in tort cases, where the plaintiff alleges that another person’s conduct or omission imposed unreasonable risks resulting in personal injury to the person or to his repute.
